Early Teething

My DD is 10 weeks and has started showing signs of teething - occasional flushed cheek, pulling on her ear on the same side, drooling and just generally grumpy. Has anyone else gone through this so early on and did you use anything that helped? I’ve read that calpol should only be used for teething from 3 months old, and she’s only just discovered her hands so she’s not used to chewing on anything. She’s been fine in herself for the last few days but today she’s sleeping a lot more and when awake she almost screams in pain which is obviously horrible to see!

Unfortunately, most teething medicine/remedies are 3 months+. For now, you could offer teething rings/toys and also you could give her a gentle gum massage with (obviously!) freshly washed hands.
Only a couple more weeks until you can give her the teething remedies. Mum of 3 DC here and I would personally recommend the Ashton&Parsons teething powders. The teething stage can be difficult but doesn’t tend to last long! (:
