Is this a spider bite?

Can anyone please help shed some light on these marks on my daughter's arm? These two appeared yesterday morning, but she had almost exactly the same thing a couple of weeks ago - two spots that appeared in the morning on the same forearm. I initially thought they were spider bites that had occurred overnight but I'm now concerned that it has happened again and especially confused that it's virtually identical....Please no vampire jokes! 😅

I'd say no. They look like bites from midges that often get under clothing or bedlinen so there are two bites close together. I often notice them on myselfwhen I wake up in the warmer months.

Even though it doesn't seem all that warm at the minute, there are a lot of midges about. If you've been out and about, or had the windows open, then all the more likely.

Do you have pets OP? Could be flea bites.

No pets. Could be midges. I just find it very weird it's been the same location and pattern twice a couple of weeks apart 🤔 You can actually see the remnants of one of the previous ones at top left of the pic.

Looks more like fleas, is it itchy? My dd gets spots like that sometimes out of nowhere and they take ages to heal. It's not a spider bite unless you've got a tarantula on steroids roaming about your house
