Toddler carriers

Can anyone recommend an easy to use toddler carrier suitable for a tall 2 year old? My DD is late walking (we are addressing this with physio) and we are a bit concerned how to manage carrying her in situations where we can’t use the stroller when we travel this summer as we both find her quite heavy and will need to carry hand luggage too. We found our baby carrier useful last summer when she was 11 months but she has outgrown it.

Do toddlers typically mind being front carried inwards facing? She was never a fan as a baby and always preferred to outward face (only used after 6 months) but this doesn’t seem possible with toddlers? I’ve only seen pictures of them front carried inwards facing or back carried. We have a backpack carrier which we use sometimes for walks but it’s bulky for travel.

Toddler carriers are all back carriers and inward facing due to the dangers of carrying a child that age. Where are you travelling? With DS I find trikes (the kind you can pull with reins and load up with their bags) very useful.

Thanks for the suggestions! Will look into these. Would prefer a front carrier if she will tolerate being in it as we will also each have a small backpack as hand luggage. We are going to Greece. We will use the stroller in some places but other places have steps and we would also like the option of walking along the beach which we can’t do with the stroller.
