Bamboo Sandys - feedback anyone? Oh and sizing too.

DD is 20 mths and over the last few months we've been gradually moving from pockets to 2-parters for reliability. Really like bamboo nappies and have mainly Bamboozles size 2 popper, which we (I) love but I don't think the fit is particularly generous and may not fit until potty training. Last week I got a bamboo MEOS which I was pleasantly surprised at (had the cotton ones for DS and hated them), and was wondering about the Bamboo Sandys.

Can anyone tell me what they're like in terms of fit/slimness/absorbency as compared to the bamboo MEOS or bamboozle? Have been using the MEOS with snap-in booster but the Bamboozle we can usually get away without any boosting (except for 1st nappy of the day). Is it worth getting a Sandys to try?

Also, should I be looking at a large or toddler size? DD is about 25lb, short, but a little chubby esp round the legs.

Any advice appreciated!

I would think so.

If you like the bamboo MEOS then you probaby will like the Bambbo Sandys too. I should say at this point I haven't used them a lot (just on DD2, my 'nappy lab rat').

I found their slimness of fit to be about the same as the MEOS. Although they are baggier between the legs, that didn't seem to effect how they fitted under her clothes (we use airflow wraps).

They were a little bit more absorbant than the MEOS but seem to dry just as quickly.

I personally prefer the fit of the Sandy's but then I cannot stand the fit of the MEOS which gets my 'worst nappy ever' rating .

My gut instinct is that the Sandy's are a better nappy than the Bamboozle but then my bamboozles shrank then fall apart after a very short time .

Not sure which size would be best for you as my DD is tall and thin - hopefully someone else will have a better idea.

I hate MEOS tbh, never enough absorbency for my liking, even with a booster.

I know NappiesGalore/BoysOnToast/ whatever she is calling herself today really likes the bamboo sandys

We use the XL Sandy's bamboo on dd4 at night (in rotation, we also have a size 3 cotton tots and a size 2 Fluffle). It is absorbent enough for her without boosting, and she seems to find it soft and cosy enough without putting in a liner (actually she takes the liner out if I put one in so must be soft!). Drying time is fairly similar to the cotton Sandy's. I'd go with the XL nappy personally esp if he has chubby legs. But perhaps when you get it try it on quickly and if it's obviously too big you can exchange it. I think you'd be ok with it. My dd is fairly slim, probably weighs about 30-35lbs and has room for growth in hers.
