I applied because my dh was sick of me going on about wanting to do a midwifery course so I rushed my application therefore I really didn't think I would get an interview. It's not until 11th April and I have had this tight chest nrevous feeling ever since I opened the letter. I need to focus and get a grip!

No, I'm not a nurse already. I have applied for a direct entry 3 year degree course to become a midwife. I have weighed up the whole job at the end thing and feel I still want to give it a go.

Well done on getting the interview, Lilliput I'm a second year student midwife and love it!!

Tips for Friday:
~Do some background reading.
~Find a good definition of the role of the midwife.
~Have a look at the NICE website for guidelines.
~Go to the Royal College of Midwives and Student Midwives Sanctuary websites.
~Look up the DoH's Midwifery Matters document.

I wish you all the luck in the world for Friday. Be yourself and let your passion for midwifery shine. xxxx
