Hello.

my 5 week old baby has a rash on her neck and chest and has also started to have a slight cough, doctors don’t seem worried but has anyone experienced this? Doctor has said prickly heat and cough is normal but been happening all day

Has a doctor actually seen her IRL?
If you can't get a face to face appointment, can you get along to a pharmacy where someone can actually see her and ask you all the right questions?
Poor little poppet.

I spoke to doctor and sent photos through and he said prickly heat. Will probably phone to get an appointment, was just looking to see if anyone could ease my mind for the time being lol!

I don't know I'd want to get her seen really. She's so tiny still. Good luck OP.
TBH I'm a bit surprised the doc didn't ask you to bring her in.

yeah I am going to phone first thing tomorrow and get an appointment, hopefully it is just prickly heat as apart from that and the slight cough the odd time she is well and her usual self. Thank you

Hi
im really not an over the top person but at 5 weeks I wouldn’t be comfortable leaving it over night. I would take her to a walk in.

My LO has this at 6 weeks old and was told it was baby eczema, took a few weeks to clear up
