Positive waiting list stories please

Hi we have been put on a waiting list for our chosen primary school and there are 5 on there including us. We've been told they can't rank us yet, but we really need to get this primary school! Anyone had any positive outcomes from this situation please share

Yes my friend was in this position last year and kept communicating with with the school and also asked to get something in writing about why they didn't get a place. They were also told they couldn't say where they were on the waiting list. A few weeks later they got a call that a space had become available. There's still time for people to reject a place

Hi how did you find out how many are on the waiting list? It's interesting to know how many others I'd be up against

Hi, I called the council about 50 times in the past two days and asked over and over again if they could tell me 🤣🤣

Hahaha I have just spoke to mine but they said they can't tell me till the 6th which is a bank holiday I think so more than likely the 7th. So more waiting 😞

When we applied to primary we were offered a waiting list place mid august. In the end we decided just to go with the school we were offered. But spaces can and do become available.
