Hi recently moved home and I have a stairgate where the kitchen is to stop toddler going in. Question is would you still get baby safety locks for the cleaning cupboard. I had them previous but with me now having the safety gate would you say its necessary? She is two and is never left alone in the kitchen.

No. Presumably she won’t be there unwatched, and is past the ’putting everything in her mouth’ phase.

Depends on ur child I suppose. My 2 year old would absolutely make every attempt to climb the gate. He would also go in all the cupboards n touch things. I had to get the magnetic locks coz from about 15 months he could just open the clicky ones. He’s literally like a wee chimp !!
