Travelling solo

Hi,
I was asked to go with my friend to Madrid for a few nights as she was working and was looking to buy a property out there. I took her invite as sweet and polite but didn't think much of it. However after a very stressful few months (very ill n and out of hospital but on the mend now) I thought why not. My DH said he would be fine with the kids and I should go. I've booked everything ready but then Sadly my friend has had a loss in her family. Not immediate but extended so is unsure if she should travel. She said I should still go and have fun and have s break.
The mum guilt is very strong, would you go? On your own? I've travelled for work solo here and there but this is different. Very on the fence.
Help! Lol

@VenusClapTrap ok so I'm just panicking for no reason then.
Damn mum guilt will be the end of me. It's so annoying

I went to quite a number of places when my dc was young and their dad wasn't bothered on travelling. Many of them much further than Madrid! Have a lovely time!

Go. Or if you have real guilt, feel free to look after my DC and I'll go 😀

pambeesleyhalpert · 16/04/2024 18:54

Deff go!

WibblyWobblyWeeble · 16/04/2024 18:56
