Will 2yo grow out of this?

We’ve always like to get out as a family always took our son with us

lately DS is having mini meltdowns when we arrive somewhere and try to get him out of the car

i just deal with it but DH just leaves him in car

i don’t want him to not enjoy going out? He does like going on walks etc and doesn’t always do it but I’ve always brought him to shops with me and he’s been fine now he just flips when we get to some

will he grow out of this?

Is he tired and wanting to snooze in the car? What do you think is the cause?

(But yes, he will grow out of it one way or another)

@TinyTeachr he did used to nap in the car (only way to get him to or buggy!!) but he won’t nap now

hes obsessed with transport and transport like toys! It’s his favourite so we don’t know if he just enjoys it so much because he gets to spot cars / buses / Lorries on the way and point them out to us

so it’s fun then he’s worried we won’t go to have more fun?

hes fine once we’re out but he’s having the random meltdown

Maybe try explaining what’s going to happen before you get into the car. “We are going to get in the car then when we get to X we will get out of thr car “ and so on. My daughter stopped having as many meltdowns when she knew what was next.
