How unobservant are your children?

Bit of fun...tell me your funny stories!

Today my almost 3 year old screamed the house down because she couldn't find me. She was asleep in my bed...with me. When she woke she silently left the room and the next minute was crying 'where are you mummy?!' on the landing. How did she not see me next to her in bed?!

Then an hour later my 5 year old asked me to help him find something whilst his hand was genuinely touching it. He went off to hunt high and low around the house. Took him 15 minutes to locate it. Fair play to him he did laugh when he realised! 😂

My 4yr old sounds a bit like ur 5yr old. Can knock something off the table, tell him to pick it up and then spends about 10mins looking for it. Same with jacket, shoes. I can be pointing at it and he still walks past. The other day i was changing the smaller 1s nappy, he came through and stood in front of the wipes and i asked him to pass me them and he went round in a circle then went to run through the bedroom or bathroom shouting I can’t find them 🤣

Teenage dd was admiring my new haircut and asked how much I had had cut off...
She was sat in the waiting area behind my chair at the hairdresser's...
Oh and it was over 10 inches and dh didn't even notice at all.
