God, I did this with a sanitary towel last week and that was bad enough!

This happened to me last week - it's a nightmare isn't it?! Take the wet washing outside and give every item of clothing a really good shake. Then clean out the washing machine with kitchen roll as best you can. You might need to wash the clothes another couple of times but they should come right in the end. HTH
