Taking medicine

I have a 2 year old that has been ill all winter but doesn't help that he won't take any medicine. We have tried using a syringe, cup, spoon, hiding it in food and putting it in a drink but he still won't eat/drink it because he knows it's in there. We've even tried roll playing doctors with no luck. Any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated.

If by medicine you mean paracetamol or ibuprofen then try to find suppositories instead, so much easier and you know the whole dose has "gone in" 😁
