Baby’s head jumping up the centiles

I’ve posted about this previously however he’s now been referred to the hospital so I’m keen to hear from others.

My baby was born on the 25th centile, despite the doctor stating he had a “big head” at his hospital check, it was logged on his record as 50th centile.

He has since jumped to the 70th, 75th, and now 90th at 4 months.

At his 8 week midwife check, the midwife was alarmed when she got a measurement of 40/41, and re-did it a few times with her (I assume) trainee until they got a lower measurement of 39, and logged that.

Now at 4 months he is on the 90th centole
for weight and 90th centile for head circumference (44cm) , up from the 75th last month. His father has a HUGE head.

Has anyones baby experienced rapid head growth like this that turned out to be nothing? I’m concerned, but also a bit unsure. If the measurement those midwives took at 8 weeks was correct then all of this is irrelevant now.
