Just that really...

I hear people referring to full time hours at nursery but what actually is that, generally?

Or are all nursery's version of full time slightly different?

I think full time just means attending 5 days as you will pay the same whether they go 7.30-6pm or 8.30-5.

5 days, morning and afternoon, all year round (with holidays obviously)

Depends if it's a private (childcare) nursery or a school (learning) nursery.
School nursery is usually school hours only so 9-3 ish but private usually would cover whatever hours you work plus commute time so could be 8-9 hours.

At least 9-5, 8-4 or equivalent I'd say.

Tho, as paying for the full day I don't see why you wouldn't send them say 8.30-5.30 even if finished work at 4, then get a chill and time to cook before the pickup, for the same cost

It varies.

Mine is 8:30-2:30. That's the core hours and children attending that would be in full time if they are there 5 days a week. Any hours added on in the morning or after half 2 is wraparound.

Usually 8-6 or thereabouts in my experience, but you don't have to drop off and pick up at those timrs, that's just what you pay for.

So e.g. I'd usually leave home around 8.05 to do 8.15 drop off at nursery to get to work for 9, work 9-5 with a 30 min lunch (supposed to be 9-5.30 with an hour lunch but this level of flexibility is allowed) then leave at 5 to arrive at nursery around 5.45, pick up/chat to staff and head off for home around 5.55 to be home just after 6. Some people might drop off at 8 and collect at 4.30 or some might drop off after the 9 o'clock school run but we'd all be paying the full day rate.
