Is this normal?!

My son is nearly 7 weeks and last night he had a feed at 7pm then we put him to bed. I was woken up at about half 12 to him kind of stirring, rolling about, waving hands etc and his eyes were open so I went to prepare his bottle except when I came back he was fast asleep again! And this behaviour has continued all night so he's not had any feeds and I'm reluctant to let him go 12 hours but equally I'm aware of never wake a sleeping baby. Every time I think he's awake within the same minute he's fast asleep again so I don't know if it's active sleeping?

He didn't really nap much during the day so I don't know if he's making up for it and he had a lot of feeds during the day. He's on 5oz and nearly 11lb.

You can wake a sleeping baby! Though as long as yours has no weight gain issues and is healthy I think it is fine to let them sleep. Has he woken up yet for food?

Who said you can’t wake a sleeping baby? My DH and ex wife had twins and when one woke they would always wake the other for a feed. My son slept through the night from a week old and could easily go ten or more hours before a feed. I’m sure your little one will be awake and hungry soon.

As long as he's made back his birth weight and has no weight gain issues enjoy the sleep ☺️ babies are really good at letting you know when they're hungry.
Personally I wouldn't wake a sleeping baby 🤷 (Maybe later when they can nap too much in the day but that won't be an issue for a long time yet)

Dream feed him. My baby has slept through since she was about 8 weeks. She has a bottle at 7pm, we dream feed at 11/12 then she sleeps through til 6/7am.

Don't wake or dream fed him. He will scream if he gets hungry.

Bottle fed babies are different than breast fed ones, bottles keeps them full much longer. They don't need dream feeding.

My daughter slept through every night (12 hours straight) from 7 weeks. Never had a problem with her health or weight gain. Some babies prefer to sleep and get all the food they need during the day.

Keep an eye on his weight, but you should enjoy your sleep! I did until teething started around 7 months...
