What vitamins are best for my tired children

Please can I have your vitamin recommendations - I give my 10 and 12 year old basic multivitamins but I wonder if I need to upgrade.

They're always tired! We have a fairly active life, they love playing sport, they're not overweight.

12 DD will sleep twelve hours if I let her - she is meant to have lights off at 9.30pm but she'll sometimes still be reading at 10pm, then sleeps in, then doesn't want to go to bed earlier and it's an annoying cycle. School days she is forced out of bed at 7.30am but that's still ten hours sleep - she's comfy, sleeps solidly very rarely wakes in the night but looks absolutely exhausted in the mornings.

10 year old DS, does better than his sister with bedtime and usually is asleep at 8.30pm and wakes about 7.30... holidays he's been actually asleep more like 9pm but lies in, still struggles with tiredness slumps, he gets irritable and has tired looking eyes.

Their diet is a bit basic, especially DS who would live on pizza given the chance. They eat fruit and salad and drink water.

Wondering if on top of too late a bedtime they are also lacking vitamin D or iron or something.

I shouldn't have more energy than my children!

I’d actually be taking them to the GP. I know children like that who had a more serious hormone issue. Plus doing what you can to improve their diet, particularly your DD needs plenty of iron assuming she’ll start her periods soon,

Everyone in the UK should take a vitamin d supplement over the winter. Low vitamin d affects the immune system but not sure if it affects tiredness? Your 12 year old might just be hitting teens. They need loads of sleep.
