Toddler cradle cap??

Ds is 16 months old and he had mild cradle cap when he was about 4 months old. It didn't last very long and I just used baby oil and a soft bristle brush on it very lightly which sorted it out in no time. He did lose all hair on the top of his head though.

Today I noticed that he's developed it again and his scalp is covered in a flaky yellowish crust. Is there anything I can do to treat this that won't make his hair fall out - its taken him so long to grow it and he'd look so strange being bald on top now that the sides are so long and filled out! Will it go away if I leave it alone?

It might not go. It turned out our DS had an unusual skin condition.

Neutrogena Sensitive Scalp Shampoo is very good.

We treated ours (21 months with lots of curly hair) with coconut oil and her normal shampoo which got rid of most of it and her hair didn’t fall out.
