I have one of them too! It wasn't originally bought for nappies but I soon realised that it would be perfect! It seems to keep the smells well contained.

claireybee · 29/03/2008 14:56

Oh no...this is mine!

MrsBadger · 29/03/2008 15:00

but don't the double handles mean it's hard to carry with a baby on the other arm?

The onelife one with the mesh clips is great.

CarGirl · 29/03/2008 17:58

Oh no mine is a lovely blue fully plastic pedal bin, square base and quite large absolutely fab and whatever type of plastic it is made off it hasn't absorbed the odours like a previous one did.

sushistar · 29/03/2008 18:34

Ah, meebles is with me. The bin is cheap, looks funky, keeps smells in, is just the right size to hold a good no of nappies without being so large that I put off washing the nappies (lazy mare). And it's metal so no smell absorption whatsoever. And unless it's overflowing () you can carry it one handed.

I'm in love with a nappy bucket. The joys of parenting are never ending.

This is mine.

I put a bag from boocoo www.boocoo.co.uk/category_accessories.asp in it.

Perfect. :D

Wow, that would hold a LOT of nappies vicky!

Cheap n cheerful here.

I'd like it just a tad bigger though.

dotvicky · 29/03/2008 23:41

sushistar - :D

is proud of her nappy laziness

Actually, it only seems to hold around 15 bumgenius's - I wash every other day.

Washersaurus · 29/03/2008 23:42

I've got 3 ladybird buckets from woolworths

UniS · 30/03/2008 20:40

mine were free- 2 blue 10 litre buckets with sealing lids and a handle. got them from a cafe, they used to have mayo in. I use mesh laundry bags from lakeland in them to make transfer to washing machine easy.
I like having 2 as we only wash every 3rd or 4th day , with just one it would be well whiffy every time you opened it on day 3 or 4.
