My DS is finally walking. Oh my gosh isn’t it just amazing when these little toddlers start walking! And he’s so proud of himself for doing it 🥲🥲

anyway, sorry, could you recommend good first walking shoes that don’t cost loads?
slippers too! We have a cold floor so would love for him to wear comfy slippers.

Depending on how confidently he’s walking, Clark’s do pre-walkers and first walking shoes. The pre-walkers are softer and more flexible if he’s still very new to walking. I think the cheapest pairs of each are around £30.

Sainsburys do these gorgeous sock/moccasin shoes. They are so comfy, like slippers, but they go up to the knee

Startrite or Clarks, never scrimp on or share shoes, your feet are so important.
My grandad always told us, always buy good shoes and a good bed, because if you're not in one you are in the other.

I just used to take mine to Clarks to get measured and choose shoes with an assistant .🤷🏻‍♀️
