Too much milk for two year-old

When I stopped breast feeding at 18 months I swapped breast milk for cows milk. Now my daughter is two years-old and she wakes around four times a night and only a bottle of milk will settle her. She currently has four bottles a night. I'm worried about this and would appreciate advice / support.

Kind comments only please.

My DD was still having 1, occasionally 2 x 4oz bottles at 16 months though sone nights would go without this. She was small for her age so I thought she must be hungry but I think it was habbit.

As it was formula I watered it down (less scoops) over a few nights to allow her to start eating more in the day then I swapped it for water.

She accepted this and she then didn't wake at all 4/5 nights a week and about 2 nights would wake for the water. I let that carry on for a while (gone 2) as we were literally up 5 mins and she would go straight back.

Then one night she went 5 straight nights with none so I swapped for a sippy cup of water and that was fine as well and she started helping herself to that without calling us (we could see her on the camera).

There are probably quicker, less gentle methods but that worked for us and we were getting enough sleep x
