Warm suit for 3yo swimming lesson

Our 3yo is pretty much grown out of Konfidence warma wetsuit, this was great for swimming lessons as quite cosy for a cool pool (29-30C I think) but free arms for swimming.

I'm struggling to replace it in size 3-4, they've stopped making these and the new equivalent has been out of stock in the size for ages. I've looked around but not sure a UV suit will be warm enough but a shortie wetsuit might be restrictive/buoyant/chafe.

Any tips please? What works for your 3yo's lessons? Thank you.

Mine just wears a normal swim short & top as do all the kids in his class. It's fine for them to be a bit chilly for 30 minutes - if they fall into water it's not going to be warm so they need to be able to cope.

My kids have always been wearing just regular swim wear. Agree with the above - it's best for the children to be aware how cold the water might feel

I don't think that is particularly cool for a swimming pool. Could you try normal swimwear?

Lots of toddlers still get cold in kids pools 30 degrees including my almost 3 year old. UV suits don't provide warmth. I've looked and looked and can only see shortie wetsuits so I'm going to try one on her. My older DD had a wetsuit jacket and shorts and just the jacket was warm enough for the pool but I don't think they're sold anymore - I hope I can find it in the loft.

Anything made out of neoprene will make them more buoyant so if actually learning to swim as opposed to bobbing about they are not really a good idea.
