Looking for reins that aren't grandmother proof!

Unsurprisingly I am keen to keep my granddaughter safe when she's out with us. I'm a believer in using reins to keep active toddlers under control near roads (she's 21 months - active but no road sense yet!) The problem has been finding reins that are not grandmother proof. I've tried Clippasafe and Trunki but both have fastenings at the back which are way too stiff for me to undo, especially when attached to a wriggling child. I have arthritic fingers so the ridiculously stiff clips they use are a non starter. Can anyone recommend a brand that is easier to use?

My grandsons had those back pack reins. Highly recommended.

Yes we use a backpack one (happens to be gruffalo but that doesn't matter!)
Good luck!
