Help- 5 year old wetting himself day and night

I have a 5 year old and 3 year old who were both potty trained aged 2. My 5 year old has had a massive regression and has multiple accidents during the day and night. I am waiting for an appointment with the doctor, I'm hoping they'll test him for bladder issues etc. I am 36 weeks pregnant and this issue is absolutely exhausting me! He gets sent home from school with his spare clothes on etc, and at night if I notice him fidgeting I wake him and take him toilet, and he still wets himself after that!

I've tried reward charts, not being negative about it or embarrassing him etc, nothing seems to be working and it's getting all of us down. Any advice for a stressed mama?

Was he dry overnight before?

Has he got a UTI or worms?

Does diabetes run in the family? Any trauma? Put him in pull ups at night and day for the moment - emphasis on keeping him comfortable as opposed to regression.

Tell him to do the toilet every hour. Praise, reassure and love.

Pullups at night, surely - it's quite common to not be fully reliable at night at that age.

I’d be looking at UTI and/or constipation

My doctor wouldn't even look at my DS as boys don't get uti ?!
Anyway we were referred to the Eric website.
We used a night alarm took 2 goes and been dry since. Day time he has the watch that buzzes . Its set for break and dinner at school
