Bloody ringworm

Our DD (20 months) got ringworm from her nursery. We got told by the GP that OTC Daktarin should do the trick. Used it for literally a month to no avail, and so the pharmacist gave us Canesten three weeks ago, which IS working on the two initial patches. But, all the faffing around has of course meant that it's spread. Poor little thing now seems to have patches popping up everywhere despite our best efforts to contain it (and we've done everything).

She's off to the docs today, but our surgery is honestly shit and we had to fight for an appointment despite her having it for almost three months. Is there a treatment we should be pushing for?

Ideally we'd get her an oral anti-fungal though I think she's probably too young. We just feel that she needs something to blast it, rather than the cream which is thick and tricky to apply to large areas. She probably needs her whole body treated at this stage. 😥
