I have a 10 year old but I am not sure if she still believes in Easter Bunny. Any ideas as to how to find out if she believes or not. She has had terrible complications in her life and I do not want to upset her any more than I should. Please any ideas

Sorry, I can't be of any help as I've never met a child of any age who believes in the Easter bunny.

Didn't do the Easter bunny with DS(10). Getting him to believe in Father Christmas was challenging enough!

Then why comment on this thread at all?

OP I wouldn't overthink this one. I grew up believing in the Easter bunny, Santa and the tooth fairy. She'll naturally grow out of the belief.

Maybe downplay it this year if you want to and do an Easter egg hunt together but don't make mention of the Easter bunny. At that age I still loved doing an egg hunt around the house and garden but my mum would make tricky clues I had to figure out in order to find the eggs. I absolutely loved it.

We play along until they say "I don't believe in x anymore". Sometimes they never say it, so we keep playing no matter how old they get. I think it's a lovely tradition even if they don't believe anymore.
