Travelling with newborn

I was just wondering if anyone has advice for the best way to make bottles when travelling? (5 hour drive) Is the Nuby Rapid cool/thermos flask worth it?

TIA 😊

how newborn?

You can stop at service stations and make up there

Hot water in a flask. Another with cold water. Bring the formula and sterilised empty bottles. Stop at the services and make the bottle up there.

This is a classic situation for ready made liquid formula (individual size bottles).

Sterilise enough bottles in advance, they stay sterile with the lids on.

Pour in the ready made formula as needed. Done.

I would go with readymade too. Test if they will drink room temp milk before you go as it makes travelling much easier if you don’t need to heat it up. How newborn is the baby? 5 hrs is a long time to have a small baby in a car seat, even after the first month.

100% use ready made bottles! We were always told not to take them in the car longer than 30-40 minutes though.
