Following a conversation with DH today about our youngest’s eye colour. DH has bright light blue eyes, I have deep brown eyes. DH reckons DS’s blue eyes will stick. He’s 2. I hope his eyes don’t change I can’t imagine him with dark eyes! Oldest DS has light hazel eyes.
What’s your experience with eye colour?

We have the same eye combination. I found those who had brown eyes started changing at about 3 months old. First went green, then brown. Most stayed blue.

DD has kept her blue eyes

Very similar in colour to one of my DC's eyes. We both have muddy /hazel eyes (clearly not a true brown but not any other colour; mine were green as a child). Our other DC has the muddy / hazel eyes too. DS still has grey-blue eyes at 6. They are darker in colour and less truly blue than most people with blue eyes but don't have a fleck of amber or brown or green in.

I hate these threads. It's always blue eyes people want.

Me, my husband, our kids, my mum and my siblings have blue eyes. Who cares?

I have hazel eyes. DH has blue. DD had very blue eyes for the first year then they changed to the same colour as mine.

And actually I could imagine your DS with brown eyes. They would look nice.
