Is it a bumhugger? - The ones with colourful fleece inside? If so they work for me overnight without a booster.

normal hemp ones are not as good as the new style bumhuggers with the integral flip-out boosters ime.

we used the bumhuggers on a night with a bamboo booster stuffed inside, with a red totsbots fleece wrap and had no leaks at all. Brilliant combo for our heavy wetter.

I have used the day nappies (what you have there) full time for a fair while now - cannot find anything better for us (believe me I have tried pretty much everything). They don't look very absorbant but they are -that is the beauty of them. I got them because DD1 was dispicable reared and DD2 had her hand-me-down clothes so we needed a thin fitting nappy which could fit under 'normal clothes' easily but still cope with her heavy wetting.

All you need to add to boost them is one supermarket value microfibre dishcloth folded into three like a prefold.

Microfibre and hemp make a fab combination as the microfibre absorbs liquid quickly then passes it onto the hemp which can hold a high volume of liquid for its thickness.

The only downfall with them is that they can go like cardboard if you cannot soften them up in a tumble drier for 10 mins.

That said, they are the day nappies, designed for day use, the bumhuggers are the night version you wanted. You should be able to add a few extra MF cloths and get through the night easily but I prefer the fleece lined bumhugger for long periods of time.
