Applying for first child’s passport

Need a little advice.

looking at getting my daughters first passport. Me and her dad have separated but was wondering if anyone knew if I had to get her dad to sign any forms etc?

any information would be great ☺️

Only one parent needs to sign. You will just need a countersignature from someone in a recognised profession who has known you for at least 2 years.
