Hello,

do you let your 12 year old shave her armpit hairs? my daughter now at secondary is conscious at PE time.

if you do, do they use a razor, shaving cream ect?

Thanks

I would suggest depilatory cream rather than razor. And yes, at 12, I think it's up to them if they want to do it.

I think if they ask it's fine.

DD started with a lady shave thing but after a year realised it would take 1 minute in the shower with a razor and soap and she could easily keep on top of it

I'd use hair conditioner rather than soap, because it's softer on the skin and the razor glides on it.

Yes let her.
show her how to do it safely to avoid her getting cut

My 11 yo dd asked me to wax hers after seeing me do mine and she loves it - so quick and then it lasts a couple of weeks. The hairs are already growing back finer and more sparsely so she is doubly pleased!

We use stripless wax in a melter.

A 12 year old should be able to chose what they do with the hair on their body. It's their body. Of course you can choose methods of hair removal but you shouldn't stop them.
