Has anyone else cut contact with in laws because of how badly they treat you?

I didn’t see FIL after he told two lies about me. He lost his wife and struggled to cope, but his behaviour after wasn’t acceptable, so I went NC and the kids didn’t see him either.

No but it's perfectly ok to do so. I'm very low contact with my "D"M.

Do you want to tell us a bit more about what's been going on and what your DW/DH think of the situation?
