Do I put eldest in for extra nursery days

I have ds 3.5 and ds 12 months. My eldest attends nursery 3 days a week and my youngest 2 days a week and I go work for these 2 days. The 2 days I'm at home with both of them is just awful. Eldest ds is constantly horrible to youngest, I'm constantly stressed, yelling and generally unhappy. Nursery is £70 a day and I'm debating whether to put eldest in for a couple of days extra a month but it's just so much money when I technically don't need to. Would you suck up the 2 days and save your money or would you put ds in extra days?

I’d suck it up. But if you are going to put one in nursery extra, why not split it so you get a day home with each of them? So they both get an extra day of nursery too. That seems fairer than just sending your oldest off to spend more time home alone with the youngest.

If you’re not enjoying having them home then could you work an extra day and put them in for an extra day each? You’d then only have them both home for one day a week which should be more manageable.

I’d put the youngest in for an extra half day or short day and have some one on one time with your eldest. Seems a little unfair otherwise.
