Please can someone tell me if this looks ok?

Bandage was taken off yesterday, 1st pic was this morning and 2nd this afternoon. Assuming it’s because the air is getting to it? Or could it be because I have an overhang and moister is getting in there? Doesn’t hurt, I don’t feel unwell!

Do you think it might be opening slightly? It looks 100% better than mine did at that point but if you are worried perhaps see if the GP or HV can check it over? I got my midwife to check mine when they came to weigh the baby.

Mine done this and it was trapped moisture, wash well, keep dry & as long as it's not oozing use sudocreme, it's the best thing that helped mine, recommended by the nurse

Mine was like this at 2 weeks pp although I took the bandage off after 1 week pp. It was oozing though and turned out it was infected and I had a uterine infection also. I had to go on antibiotics.

If you have high waisted white underwear, put them on and see if you have any oozing. If underwear has no marks and looks dry by tomorrow then it should be fine and just needs to dry up, because it's been covered for so long. If it's oozing or starts to look red around the scar you'll need to phone triage and get it seen to asap
