Tips from experienced parents of 3+ children

Hello there,

I'm currently pregnant with my 3rd after a bit of a gap (will be 6 and 4 years) and trying to get my head around practicalities. What have experienced parents done to make their lives and the transitions easier?
I found the 0-1 transition very hard and the 1-2 no problem at all, but I think that was also largely down to the temperament of the children.

Things I'm largely worried about:

  • bed time and bath time routines with three. At the moment, my two share a bath together and then when we're both home dad reads to one and I read to the other and we each take charge of putting one to bed. How do you do it smoothly with 3? Also the thought of another 5+ years of bath time sends me a bit loopy.
  • Adult time. As your children get older, do you still get it? How?
  • Work/family life balance general tips.
  • Sleep. My two sleep great now but weren't great up to a year at least. Any pro tips?
  • Any other necessities or words of wisdom to stop me spiralling into a panic over the next 18+ years?

Thank you
