Daughter’s friendship group

Hoping for some advice from others mums around girls and changing friendships. My daughter had been close with another girl since reception (they’re now in year 2). In the last few months another mum has been encouraging her daughter to build a friendship with my daughter’s best friend (joining the same clubs, arranging play dates without my daughter there) and understandably my daughter is struggling as feels left out. I’m a bit miffed as whilst I understand she’s broadening her child’s social circle it’s upset my daughter and she tells me they ignore her or she won’t let her sit next to her best friend at lunch time. I’m trying to keep things as normal as possible for my dd as I’ve recently had a baby. Her teacher has picked up on her change in behaviour saying she can be unkind but I’m sure it relates to feeling pushed out (and also encourage her to stand her ground if she’s on the receiving end of mean behaviour). Any advice appreciated x

What did the Teacher suggest when she said that your DD can be unkind?
