He's 3 and been sitting down up to now.

He told me he needed the toilet and he just did one standing up!

Then he beamed and said 'just like Daddy!'

So cute!

It is so cute when they manage it! DS1 was a sitter until he was nearly 4!

At the moment DS2(age 2.6) wants to copy is brother. I heard them in the bathroom this morning, DS1 was saying 'come on lets wee together!' So they did, with only minor sprinkling by DS2

LOl, my DS2 is 20 months old and he keeps taking his nappy off, he did a wee on the loo yesterday too. Im not going to train hime though (doing 1 is enough at the moment)

DS2 just likes to take his nappy off and piss on the laminate flooring, lol

My DS1 never sat down, ever. Always stood up. He loooves being like his dad. It is adorable when he just takes himself off to the loo.
Nightmare when going to use public loos though, cos they are too high for him - so I get him to stand on my feet--- inevitable 'drippage' often narrowly avoided.

My DH gets annoyed that I make DS use a piece of tissue paper afterwards to catch the drips though..... (!)
Probably opening the poor child up to much ridicule in school eventually, but at the moment, it keeps the bathroom that bit cleaner--- just have to train the 31yr old boy how to keep it clean now(!)

Also NOT great when he is playing in the garden, and just wanders off to the side, and wees into the flowerbed- garden overlooked by grumpy old lady, who no doubt sees this every time it happens (infrequently!!) and thinks we're a bunch of asbo numpties.
