DH would think I'd lost it completely, but I fancy giving it a go!

If you have what has/hasn't worked?

I am hoping to have a go i have all the stuff ready and waiting and a sewing machine that has been in the box since christmas 2006 so i am nearly there!!!
I am looking for testers are you interested?

My friend made some really good fleecy pocket nappies but I think she had to adapt the original pattern to get such a good fit (just increased the rise I think so nothing too tricky).

I admire anyone who does. I can't even replace the elastic in ds3's wonderoos and bumgenius!

My Mum loves sewing and is always experimenting with new styles, so we have rather a lot at the moment. I manage to find some cheap microfibre blankets that we are currently experimenting with to use on holiday, when we need something really quick drying so we can take less with us.
It seems to be quite successful so far. My dd now has all different colours and funky styles. I could do with trying wool wraps now though. Maybe it's time for knitting! LOL

I have done it - two different ones - smaller one was brilliant - larger pattern very generous for babies - needed to adapt. If you have an overlocker - edging is easy. It took me no time to whip some up.

do you need some patterns? Can recommend a couple.

yes have just recently done my own and they work quite well. did all in one pocket nappies as i don't have much option with drying and refuse to ever use a drier.

i bought all my fabrics etc whilst in the antipodes so have got some really funky patterned ones. i don't seem to be able to buy much in PUL in england.

it was well worth the effort as they have only cost me about £3 each so far.

one tip tho is to make them after your lo is born so you can actually get the fit right!
