Mother's Day

My sister is unfortunately able to have children so I've tried my best to involve her in my 12 week old daughter's life. For Mother's Day, I've ordered her an auntie card from my baby daughter. My partner said it's ridiculous, the day is for mothers, not aunties.

I thought I was being nice, not wanting her to feel left out. Am I being ridiculous?

It’s not ridiculous. You know your sister and whether or not she would like it. It’s come from a kind hearted place, if I couldn’t have children and I wanted to I’m not sure I would want the reminder on Mother’s Day.
