Is this reflux?

My little girl is nearly 14 weeks old and for the past few weeks her wind has got considerably worse... so much so that I am now wondering if she has reflux? My other 3 children didn't have this, so I'm totally clueless so am looking for some advice!

Here are her symptoms:

  • Very sicky. She spits up after every feed, sometimes it can be a little sometimes quite a lot
  • Arches her back and goes stiff mid feed until she's burped or sat up
  • Won't be put down in the day time, however we cosleep and she wakes for a feed at 2am (5/6oz) and then will burp and go back to sleep happily
  • She does sound croaky but this ties in with her cold that she developed last week
  • constant crying during/after feeding

I am thinking about going to the GP and seeing if they can advise further, possible gaviscon maybe? Any advice would be great. Thank you!

Yes, reflux tends to get worse around 3-4 months. It could also be cmpa.

For reflux then starting treatment is gaviscon but often it's needed in conjunction with omperazole.
