My three year old talks well, but conversations are so random and odd I find it really frustrating. I have definitely been guilty in the past of expecting too much so if I am please just nicely tell me.
He almost constantly answers out of context. So if I ask him if he had fun doing something or if he felt sad because of something he just answers with gibberish, usually about fire engines but other times starts singing happy birthday or something. It makes talking about behaviour difficult. Is this normal?
