Does anyone have any experience of curled/curly toes. My little girl is 15 months not walking yet, I didn’t really notice it until her nursery mentioned it a couple of months ago, I spoke to the health visitor and they just send should correct itself as she starts walking. She getting more confident now but the toes do look so curled and uncomfortable especially one big toe which has the nail right underneath it must be rubbing and she stands. I can’t see how she is going to be able to walk when they’re like this as must be sore.

DS has this on his fourth toe - we took him to orthopaedic specialist who advised it should sort itself out by 4yo. It doesnt seem to bother him and doesnt impact his walking. Consultant said if it hasnt corrected and starts causing issues they will release a tendon to straighten toe - this procedure sounds quick with little to no downtime. I would get it checked just in case as im sure every child/foot is different but i dont think its anything to worry too much about in the meantime.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I did decide to call the doctors today just to get their opinion. Wish it was so bad one her big toe. Can’t even really get shoes on her, lucky don’t really need them yet though.
