Newborn won't sleep in the mornings

My baby is 4 weeks and sleeps reasonably well at night (for a fresh baby!), generally at the moment the routine is loosely...
Feed 9pm
Feed 12pm-1am
Feed 3am - 4am
Awake for the day usually 7am-8am.

They feed and settle back really well at night and drop off almost immedietely after the change, feed, burping.

My problem is that I am really stressed about wake windows because after that 7am/8am wake up they will NOT sleep again for the morning and will be up sometimes 3 hours if not more !!! This is such a long time for a newborn.
They cry for some parts of the 3 hours (but not always and can be more whinge then scream) for the most part can be chilled and happy in dockatot or sitting on me staring around and making babbles.

I have tried all different ways to help them settle which work otherwise inc...

  • rocking
  • putting in bassinet when chilled with/without dummy
  • putting in bassinet with rocker
  • taking on a walk in pram
  • contact napping
  • going in the car (loves the car seat!)

Nothing works until around 10.30am - 11am. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to fix or should I just accept this is their preference???

What time are you trying to get them down for their first nap?
