Waking Baby

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone could give some advice!
DD was 10 weeks yesterday. This last week or so she has started sleeping much better. I am waking her at about half 3 every night for a feed, roughly 4 and half hours after her last feed. Should I be doing this or just leave her asleep?

I’ve always been in the “never wake a sleeping baby” camp, unless she specifically has issues with feeding during the day. Is she gaining weight appropriately? Does she have regular wet nappies?

By 10 weeks, my kids were pretty much sleeping through, but I wasn’t EBF, which can make a difference. I knew they were getting enough in their bottles during waking hours.

I would let her sleep! Unless her weight is a concern?

My little one is also 10 weeks. We pretty much never wake him in the night as he will let us know when he's hungry. He then has a longer stretch followed by a shorter stretch.

The only exception is we have started waking him around 7pm if we are in danger nap territory. Gives us all a happier evening and night.

Her weight originally was a concern but I don't think it is now! She's been following her curve well! Has lots of wet nappies.
Will let her go tomorrow night then and see how she is!
