Fussy eater

Hello, just wanted some reassurance and see if anyone else has gone through it. I started weaning my son at 6 months and he loved food, we did a mix of purees and baby led weaning. He used to love his finger foods and ate so well. Lots of veg and home cooked meals. Then around 8 and a half months he suddenly wasn't interested, he totally went off his bottles too but thankfully hes now taking them again. Currently on a non dairy diet due to this face rash not shifting and sickness episodes at night. He still will not take the neocate we were prescribed by the dietician and only has his regular formula. He will also only eat a fruit or yoghurt pouch (the only way he'll eat it is sucking it out of the pouch) and weaning wands/wafers. I feel like ive failed somewhere we've tried everything to get him to eat 😭

Sounds like he's made the connection between food and his stomach hurting. I've got CMPA so I well know that pain.

Have you tried adding Nesquik or Alcohol free Vanilla Essence to the Neocate to make it more palatable.

Which yoghurts is he having? If they're Soya, you might want to swap them as half of people with CMPA also have an allergy to Soya as the proteins are similar.

Thank you so much for your reply! I have tried the vanilla in the neocate but haven't tried nesquick! Thats a great idea. I also didn't know about the soya milk being so similar so I'll definitely be swapping these!
