Teething causing sleep problems or something else?

Hi all
Just looking for some reassurance/guidance.
my 5mo has been teething on and off since he was 8 weeks old, he’s a little bit cranky in the day but other than that fine. At night he rolls around and cries in his sleep and the only way to sooth him is to give him a dummy (he doesn’t have a dummy except for then, he’s fed to sleep). He is learning to roll front to back (he can already roll back to front) so I don’t know if the sleep crying is because of this (he seems to roll around in his sleep and maybe get stuck), because of the teething or down to me feeding him to sleep…
just wondered if anyone else has experienced the same.
thanks!

If the dummy soothes him and he's working on rolling, I wouldn't jump straight to teething pain, but it could be. I've found anbesol is good for checking if baby is struggling with teething pain – it works really quickly, and you apply it straight to the gums, so if you give some and baby is happy (or asleep) a few minutes later, it was teeth.
