What are your 2.5 year olds favourite toys?

I seem to buy toys that my daughter takes interest in for a couple of weeks and then they just get forgotten about!

What toys do your little ones love playing with over and over again?

Mine liked a lot of role play type toys - Dolly and pram, toy food, toy till etc.
It's the age where they essentially start copying what adults do.
Oh - and Play Doh or sticking stickers onto paper.

My 2.5 year old loves cocomelon ! And you can get all sorts. Plus he loves mega blocks. Oddly enough he likes playing with water and pouring from one cup to another etc granted this can get very messy but he loves it

Doll and pram, toy kitchen, duplo, magnetic tiles, her scooter, colouring things (preferably big sister's felt tips), stickers. The wooden train set is also popular if someone helps her set it up – she can put random pieces of track together, but not make a complete circuit.

My daughter likes Duplo and Brio trains best. Then Happyland and her baby dolls and pram.

Dr set is our favourite toy at the moment

We try to get toys that join up so she had 3 or 4 toys with farm animals and they join on to her train set which has emergency services which links to her police car and ambulance. The trainset for us is a linker toy bringing in other toys and imaginative play
She also likes her kitchen and workbench and jigsaws

With DD1 it was happyland, duplo, train set and doll.
With DD2 it was dinosaurs, dinosaurs, duplo, dinosaurs and toy kitchen. Did I mention dinosaurs? (She was obsessed)

My just turned 3 year old is obsessed with packing for her holiday. This usually involves an M&S bag for life and a big pile of whatever is in the laundry basket. So if you're after tips to entertain at that age, then I wouldn't actually buy anything, but let them use household items (hours of fun can also be found with a cloth and a spray bottle with water it - she will happily clean the whole house for hours with that combo). If you want tips on actual toys, then I'd second a train track and duplo/mega blocks. My little one also likes her tea and toaster set, but I think that's just because she's mirroring my tea obsession!

Obsessed with a pair matching game Dressed Up Dogs. 50 card one so not easy. She's learning all the dog breeds! Also a toy microwave that makes noises, spins. Build you own flower garden plastic flowers. Marble run (supervision rqd! Marbles!). Kinetic sand.

Just turn 3YO here and long standing favourites are- duplo, hot wheels cars with various launching contraptions (big sister liked these too, not just for boys!), marble run (under strict supervision as small pieces), magna tiles, v tech ice cream cart, crayola washimals and play doh.
