Looking for some advice.
How often should I be arranging play dates for my DS7? He has four out of school classes he goes to per week and gets on with kids in each class but has never asked for a play date with any of them.
Anytime he has asked for a school friend to come over I have arranged it and he has been invited to a couple but it’s not very often. Is regularly invited to birthday parties.
I worry though as I hear kids in other classes arranging them and worry he is missing out. He has quite a few friends in class and has no issues making friends anywhere we go.
There aren’t very many kids that live near us (or at least I don’t see them out playing).
Should I be making more of an effort? I’m not a particularly outgoing person so I’m finding this sort of the difficult. Thankfully my kids are more social and outgoing.
