My little one (4 in March) seems to have an obsession with older boys. When we are out she will often spot an older boy, usually between 8-11 and automatically follow him around until he will become friends with her. She will act shy but want to be with them. Today it happened again (3rd time in 2 weeks), the little boy gave her a bracelet to take home and now at bedtime she is distraught as she wants to see the boy and “give him a hug and his bracelet”. Are these intense feelings normal in a girl so young? She’s not like this with her girl friends and won’t do this with girls she meets out and about.
