Ds is 2.8 and i'm trying to potty train him.I have been trying for over aweek now, without much luck.I'm lucky to get him to do one wee on his pot each day.
Do you think i should leave him awhile longer and then try again.
Thanks

i tried with little success on 2 occasions with dd i've been advised that is they dont ask for a wee or go potty by themselves by the 3/4 day they aren't ready. i have done DD now she was 3.1 when i did her and only 4 accident first day and by day 3 only had 1 and she was asking i think maybe his not ready. its hard i stressed about it 4 a long while!!

With ds I stayed in the house for 4/5 days. First day he had no trousers or pants on and had a potty where he could see it. I told him what to do. He had an accident once but all other times it went in the potty. 2nd day I put just pants on, he was fine. 3rd day put trousers on too and so on!
Just take it one step at a time.
Ds was 2.5 at the time, he is now 3 and still has the odd accident but in general he will now take himself to the loo.

Maybe you can try again.

Thanks ladies.I think i will leave him abit longer.I don't think he is ready just yet.He just seems to hold himself all day.Like today from about 12.30 till i put a nappy on he hasn't had a wee..I asked him loads and sat him on his potty, but he hasn't done anything.Unless he has done it some where up a corner.lol
